      Biostatistics for non-statisticians - 19-20 November 2009

Why attend?

This 2-day course is intended for medical doctors, pharmaceutical professionals and researchers in the biomedical field who regularly need to interpret or write about data and statistical tests. The training will focus on types of study designs, followed by the basic principles involved in analyzing the data (descriptively and drawing inference). Finally, we will learn how to report the results in a correct manner. The theory will be illustrated by exercises which will mainly focus on the interpretation of the statistical analysis and correct reporting of the results. More detailed information on the content of the course can be found here.

After you have completed this training course, you will be able to easily interpret data published in literature and understand why certain statistical tests have been performed. You will be able to communicate with your statistician and you will understand the statistical design of clinical studies.

The number of participants is strictly limited to 12!

No prework is required for this training.
